General conditions Chambres d ' hôtes "Maison Le Barrage" Under French law, only the French text of our terms and conditions legally valid. What follows is a translation.  

Art 1 – apply The general terms and conditions shall apply to each stay in our chambres d ' hôtes, unless otherwise agreed in writing and signed by the owners A. Goldsweer-Kooistra or A. Goldsweer

Art 2 – length of The stay in our Chambres d ' hôtes can only for tourist reasons, with reduced length of stay. The customer may in no circumstances invoke one or other right to perpetuate his stay.  

Art 3 – booking the reservation is only valid when the guest has paid the down payment; This advance amounts to 50% of the overnight stay (breakfast included), with a minimum of one night per reserved room. Our prices are all in. For a stay booked at the last minute, the total payment amount settled on the day of departure.  

Art 4 – balance the remaining amount (balance) must reach us at least 10 days prior to the beginning of the stay. Meals and beverages on the day of departure.   

Art 5 – cancellation by the customer any cancellation must be in writing to be announced. The following fees are charged:

a) If cancelled less than 5days before the beginning of the stay: the full amount will be charged;

b) if guest after arrival to shorten the stay decision, posted full length of stay will be charged.

Art 6 – cancellation by the owners In case the owners having to cancel the stay, the guest will be notified in writing immediately. The guest receives amounts paid per earlier right back.  

Art 7 – arrival In case a late arrival (after 10.00 hours), guest Please inform the owner. In the case of a short stay, and guest not for 10.00 hour has arrived, the agreement is considered as non-closed. The owner can then have the room. The deposit is not refunded in this case.  

Art 8 – séjour tax The sejour tax (taxe de séjour) is a local tax, which must be met by the guest to the owner. This amount is the accommodation price included. The owner pays the sojourn tax to the tax collector.

Art 9 – use of the guest areas in and around the House guest is deemed to preserve the peace and installations, buildings and furniture use only where they are intended for. Guest is obliged to leave the rooms in good condition.   

Art 10 – capacity the agreement is always closed to an exact number of people. If the number of guests is higher than agreed and there are no other rooms available, the owner can refuse the additional customers access. This decline can in no way be understood as a change or a cancellation of the agreement on the basis of the owner.  

Art 11 – Pets. Pets are not allowed.

Art 12 – smoking ban In home and in our guest rooms should not be smoked. In consultation with the owner on the terrace may be smoked, provided that this does not disturb the other guests.
